# About Us

Founded in 1979, the Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus is made up of 120 undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, staff, and community members. The ensemble presents two major choral-orchestral performances per year exploring a wide range of repertoire spanning the baroque, classical, romantic, 20th century, and present day music. Members represent a variety of music backgrounds and experience levels.

Our rehearsals are held Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9:30 pm in [Lowell Lecture Hall](/how-join) at Harvard University. We will hold open rehearsals on Wednesday, September 9 and Wednesday, September 16 from 7-8:30pm for anyone interested in joining.

The Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus, and its Art Director, [Edward Jones](/people/edward-elwyn-jones "Edward Elwyn Jones") look forward to welcoming you to another exciting year of fine music-making!
